Liverpool are on course to make it back-to-back Premier League title victories under Jurgen Klopp, but the Reds have failed to recapture their complete dominance of 2019-20.

Fourteen games into last season, Liverpool had dropped points just once and were already eight points clear at the top of the table. Fast forward to the same stage in 2020-21 and Klopp’s side have dropped points in five of their fourteen fixtures and were thrashed 7-2 by Aston Villa, albeit they still lead the division by four points.

We’ve compared every Premier League club’s points and goals tallies to this stage last season, excluding newly-promoted Leeds United, West Brom and Fulham.
