The race for the Premier League Golden Boot is on.
The 2020/21 season has seen goals going in all over the place and that should continue as we enter the hectic festive period.
After the opening 38 top-flight games this term, there had been 144 goals – 40 more than at the same stage last season – and the scoring has continued at great pace.
It means the battle for the top scorer is already taking shape with some stars at double figures for the campaign already.
Last season, Leicester’s superb Jamie Vardy netted 23 goals to edge out Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Danny Ings of Southampton to the top gong.
