Kortney Hause and Anwar El-Ghazi ensured that 10-man Aston Villa would pick up all three points in comfortable fashion against Crystal Palace.
The home side went ahead early on after Bertrand Traore tapped home from close range. A spanner was thrown into the works before the break as Tyrone Mings was sent off for two bookings.
But Villa remained in control and they ran out 3-0 victors after Hause and El-Ghazi added to their advantage in the second half.
