The draws for the FA Cup fourth and fifth rounds will be conducted on Monday night – before the third round has even finished.

The cup will be fast-tracked this season amid the fixture pile-up caused by the COVID-19 lockdown.

The FA Cup fourth and fifth round draws will be held on Monday

The fifth round matches are due to be held around Wednesday, February 10, earlier than they would usually be played.

The FA have made the decision to condense the draw ceremonies into one event for the next two rounds, meaning some teams will know their path to the quarter-finals having not played their third round ties yet.

Southampton’s game against Shrewsbury will not go ahead and there is a strong possibility more games may have to be called off as teams battle the impacts of coronavirus.

Villa’s Friday night game against Liverpool is in doubt, while Wayne Rooney and Derby’s first-team squad will miss Saturday’s tie at Chorley following the COVID outbreak – that match is still going ahead however.

FA Cup draw: What is it?

The draws will be held back-to-back on Monday, January 11 ahead of the third round match between Stockport County and West Ham.

Reshmin Chowdhury is hosting the ceremony while ex-England striker Peter Crouch will be picking the balls.

The fourth round draw is scheduled to begin at 7.10pm before the fifth round draw at around 7.25pm.

It will be live on talkSPORT and will also be shown on BT Sport 1 and on the FA Cup Twitter and Facebook channels.
