Everton have completed the signing of Josh King from Bournemouth.
The 29-year-old striker has agreed to join on a short-term deal with the Championship side receiving a £5million fee.
The Toffees announced the move just after 1am following the filing of deal sheets ahead of the 11pm deadline.
King, who has scored twice in 14 appearances for the Cherries this season, was also being chased by West Ham and Fulham and was wanted by Manchester United last season.
Having moved to England from Oslo, he came through the ranks at Old Trafford and has played for Bournemouth since 2015, reaching double figures in goals in two Premier League seasons with Bournemouth.
His 161 top flight appearances have produced 48 goals and now will help Everton in their pursuit of European football with Carlo Ancelotti’s men currently in eighth place following Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle.
Capable of operating on either flank, in addition to his favoured centre-forward position, King also has 19 Premier League assists.
His south coast departure was signalled minutes earlier when Bournemouth announced they had signed Shane Long from Southampton.
Earlier in the day, goalkeeper Jonas Lossl returned to his first club FC Midtjylland without ever playing a competitive game for Everton.
The Toffees also sent defender Jonjoe Kenny and midfielder Anthony Gordon out on loan to Celtic and Preston respectively.
