Liverpool moved closer to qualifying for the UEFA Champions League in the 2021-22 season by beating Burnley 3-0 at Turf Moor. Liverpool moved ahead of Leicester City and into the top four thanks to Roberto Firmino, Nat Phillips and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlains goals.

The first half started with Roberto Firmino giving United the lead, and Nat Phillips scored his first ever goal to make it 2-0 score. A late goal from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlains made it 23-0

Liverpool face Crystal Palace at Anfield, while Leicester are at home to Tottenham on the same number of points. Although Liverpool have a four-goal advantage, Brendan Rodgers’ side are waiting for last season’s champions to slip up.
