A Liverpool fan has sensationally claimed Jurgen Klopp should be sacked following their 4-1 horror-show against Manchester City on Sunday.
The Reds have struggled in Premier League title defence this season and are currently ten points behind City, who also have a game in hand.
It was a disastrous performance from Klopp’s side with two poor errors from goalkeeper Alisson leading to crucial goals in the second half.
It seems that not all of the Liverpool faithful are happy with the German despite their recent success domestically and in the Champions League.
“I want Jurgen Klopp to leave,” David the Liverpool fan said.
“Do you remember with Brendan Rodgers when we lost 6-1 away to Stoke City? Liverpool this season have had two terrible defeats – the 7-2 to Aston Villa and now this 4-1 to City.
“They even lost to Brighton and Burnley at home. This is a crisis but I don’t think Jurgen Klopp can solve it.
“Why did Jurgen Klopp not think what might happen if Van Dijk got injured? He should have brought in defenders on January 1.
When asked about Matip, he said: “Matip is not good enough.”
“Do you know why Alisson is making those mistakes? Because the defenders in front of him are not good enough.”
Former Manchester United striker and talkSPORT pundit Andy Cole had had enough by that point and said: “Nonsense.”
Undeterred, David added: “He should should have got two defenders on January 1 but waited until February 1. This is why the team is falling apart.
When asked who he wants to replace Klopp, David said: “I want Gerrard because Gerrard has won the league with Rangers I’d get him. Gerrard would get some mentality back to the team. Gerrard is a leader. We haven’t got a leader on the pitch.
“Henderson is not a leader. Look at Liverpool’s results against the bottom six teams this season, it’s appalling.
