Mohamed Salah’s agent posted a cryptic message on social media after the Liverpool star was substituted in the second-half of the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at Anfield
Jurgen Klopp’s men lost at home for a fifth consecutive time for the first time in history after Mason Mount’s stunner earned the Blues a crucial victory in the race for the top four.
The Reds approached 2021 at the summit of the top-flight and fancying their chances of completing a successful title defence, but they are now four points off the Blues in sixth place and in a full blown crisis following the defeat.
One of the big talking points of the match was Klopp’s decision to substitute Salah in the second-half as his side searched for an equaliser.
Salah has been linked with a move away from the club this summer, with Real Madrid and Barcelona linked with a switch for the Egypt superstar.
And his agent’s cryptic message on social media will undoubtedly lead to more speculation surrounding his future at Anfield.

Former Arsenal ace and talkSPORT co-host Perry Groves was equally stunned by Salah’s substitution.
Following the match, he said: “Then you saw the face of Mo Salah. That makes no sense whatsoever.
“Firmino isn’t in good form, Mane is having perhaps the worst spell he’s had at the moment.
“Mo Salah is looking over thinking ‘have I seen the right number there? Am I missing something?’
“He’s the top scorer and he’s one of those players who can nick you a goal.”
