Pep wins Premier League manager of the month that’s also named as Barclays Manager of the month. And, he is the only manager in the history of the premier league to won this award in four successive months. He won it in January 2021, and as of February 2021, he’s the most recent recipient of this award as a manager for Manchester City. Pep has won this award 9 times and ranks 4th in this award-winning list. He has coached 4 teams up till now and is currently coaching Manchester city. Pep has won many awards throughout his career as a manager and is one of the most successful managers of the sport. He has been awarded the Catalan Parliament’s Gold Medal and FIFA coach of the year award in 2011. He started his career as a manager for Barcelona, he remained manager for four years, but later on in 2013 joined the French club Bayern Munich. For Bayern, he won Bundesliga every season he was there. He joined Manchester City in 2016, and later on, became the first manager to win the domestic treble(A treble in association football is achieved when a club team wins three trophies in a single season) in English men’s football. And in this season Manchester City made a record-breaking nine-game winning streak in all competitions, the most by a team in the top four tiers of English football in a single month since the formation of the Football League in 1888, Under the coaching of Pep Guardiola and scored 24 goals, winning two FA Cup fixtures and a Carabao Cup semi-final at Old Trafford.
