Erling Haaland scored a brilliant first-half brace in Borussia Dortmund’s visit to Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday night.

The Norwegian striker was set up on both occasions by England’s Jadon Sancho, who for the second goal was helped by his countryman Jude Bellingham.

The first goal saw Sancho pick the ball up from 30 yards out and start driving forwards.

He fed a creative through ball to Haaland out on the left, though it looked to have strayed too wide.

The angle facing the striker was a difficult one, however he executed a sublime chip to find the net.

Haaland lifted the ball over the goalkeeper and saw it bounce in off the far post.

Just six minutes later he scored again.

Sancho once again drove forwards and this time exchanged a one-two with Bellingham to help him progress into the Monchengladbach penalty area.

When he received the ball back, he fed Haaland who fired home.
