Leno was dismissed for handling outside his area with 18 minutes left as the visitors’ seven-game unbeaten run came to an end, leaving them tenth in the Premier League.

And Wolves have now turned to TikTok in order to poke fun at the German goalkeeper.

Wanderers posted a video of Leno’s dismissal to the soundtrack of Europe’s hit classic ‘The Final Countdown’.

However, instead of using the lyrics ‘The Final Countdown’ the words have been replaced with ‘The Final Braincell’ as Wolves mocked Leno’s odd decision making that resulted in his dismissal.

Wolves have become known for mocking players who come up against their players on TikTok.

They poked fun at Harry Maguire as he attempted to tackle Raul Jimenez as he closed in on goal, and Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka has also bared the brunt of the social media banter.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that Arsenal plan to appeal against the red card shown to Luiz in Tuesday’s defeat at Wolves.

Luiz was dismissed in first-half stoppage time as he conceded a penalty having being adjudged to have fouled Willian Jose while making no attempt to play the ball.

The Gunners do not believe a foul was committed, that any contact made was minimal, and that Luiz made a clear attempt to avoid touching his opponent.

The 33-year-old Brazilian is currently facing a one-match suspension, which would see him miss Saturday’s trip to Aston Villa.
